Proprietors, David and Linda Brown are always pleased to hear comments from customers. Some of our real cask ales have been suggested by customers and we like to know what diners think about our menu options. Here are a few examples of the comments we have received. "I wish to thank you both for Friday night. Although there were 23 of us all
food was excellent and more importantly hot. Your staff were top notch and
appreciate everything that you both did especially David going on a shopping
trip for us!!!! Every steak was cooked beautifully and matched very request
and I was asked to say to the chef that the Beef Wellington was a roaring
success and if we were in the area again I would definitely make another

"We came for Mother's Day and had a lovely meal. The tables had been set out really thoughtfully so that although the pub was very busy we did not feel  too close to other diners. Mum really enjoyed it." C

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality you extended to me during my recent stay at your excellent accommodation. the room, food and staff were all fantastic, in particular the exquisite 'Beef Wellington'. I would like to congratulate you on your attention to detail that just made my stay so comfortable, even down to you introducing me to your friendly regulars. Some b&bs just let you 'get on with it' but you took the time to bother, so for that again I thank you. I will, should I be working in the area again, contact you before anyone else for my accommodation, and recommend your establishment to friends and colleagues alike. M
